Our experts recognize the importance and legislative demands for accurate tire mechanics and assists businesses and individuals with tire testing to understand tire construction, material selection and lifetime expectations. Extensive physical testing of tires in our tire testing lab is supported by compound development, analysis and a full failure analysis service.

Treadwell Research Park is an 898-acre proving ground designed for tire and vehicle dynamics testing, just fifty miles southwest of San Antonio, Texas. First established in 1999, the test facility has evolved over the years to offer a wide range of test surfaces, from rigorous off-road test courses to customizable vehicle dynamics areas (VDAs) and noise assessment lanes. Track capabilities include:

• Pass-by noise testing
• Off road mud and dirt
• Off road rock and gravel

 
The facility, managed by Smithers, also provides on-site technical support, has an event room for demos and product launches, and garage rental space.
